ob Description of Juvenile Crime Prevention Council (JCPC) Student Advocate

Elizabeth City-Pasquotank Public Schools 



Reports to: Director of Student Services

 

Supervises:  None

 

Purpose: The purpose of this position is to prevent initial or continued juvenile delinquency and improve school performance of primarily court referred youth ages 10-17.  The Student Advocate will be employed full-time to provide services in collaboration with school officials, DJJ Court Services, parents, and community stakeholders.

Salary: Salary Schedule Grade 69 plus local supplement

Salary Range:  $3,439.65 - $6,226.33 monthly

(Based on 30 years experience as a student advocate in a school system)

Full-Time; Permanent; 10 month position
