Interventionist
This employee will facilitate small groups to assist students in the mastery of grade level content. A good command of effective instructional strategies is necessary
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for supporting student achievement with special attention to Tier I and Tier II.
- Responsible for monitoring, reporting and communicating student progress and performance.
- Provides individual and small group instruction to students who are struggling academically.
- Collaborates with the teachers, administration instructional coach, and families to help identify best practices for individual and small groups of students.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 60 Semester/90 Quarter Hours of College Credits or Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience in working with children who have emotional, mental health, and/or behavioral issues
- Possession of an equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities for the position
(Prefer that college credits be in education or related area)
SALARY INFORMATION
Non-Certified - $18.00 per hour
Up to 20 hours per week
