GENERAL STATEMENT OF JOB

An employee in this position performs routine, manual work cleaning and maintaining buildings. The employee also controls building heating and air conditioning equipment. The employee performs recurring tasks in accordance with established practices and cleaning schedules. When problems arise, an employee in this class will refer them to a lead worker or supervisor. Errors will be revealed by inspection of work and are not likely to result in loss of time or resources. Supervision is direct with frequent inspections to assure completion of assignments in accordance with instructions and standards of cleanliness.

STATE RANGE

Pay Grade 51

$15.00 - $18.45 per hour

(based on 0-30 years of experience in a school system)

Part-time, Permanent, 10-month position

 

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or Equivalency preferred

or

5 years of relevant experience 

Floor Technician

Must be willing and eligible to receive a Bus License and drive at the request of the school system.
